- Get two Cornish Hens ( this will serve a family of 4) open and rinse under cool water
- Place in a baking dish season with a little salt and pepper on both sides cover and bake at 350 for 2 hours
- When half way through cooking time turn hens over and continue to cook.
- When hens are almost done glaze with a can of cranberry sauce. Put cranberry sauce in a bowl and add a pinch of sugar warm in the microwave for a minute and stir. Then brush on hens and let it cook on both sides until golden brown.
- Bring a cup of water to boil. cut and peel five large potato's, add to boiling water with a pinch of salt. Let cook until potato's are soft. Drain water add half cup of milk and a stick of butter and a tsp of garlic powder.
- Stir until smooth and creamy.
- In a pot warm up a bag of frozen vegetables your choice.
- Make cornbread muffins follow directions on the package
- For dessert try making a plum Carmel crumble.
- You will need a can of plums, a cup of oats, a half cup of sugar tsp, of cinnamon, a half cup of flour , and a slash of milk, and a stick of butter.
- Put plums in a small baking dish, take out pits, add a tsp of sugar .
- in a bowl mix your flour, oats,sugar, cinnamon, and butter ( it should be clumpy) then add milk and stir.
- Put the oat mixture on top of plums and bake for and hour. (You can top it with ice cream of whip cream or Carmel if you like) let cool for about ten minutes and serve.You can have a tasty meal for four in no time at all
